“Dinner Was so good, we returned the following evening”

“A friendly and welcoming pub with a great menu and specials board. We really enjoyed our meal and it was good value. I enjoyed the Lamb and mint suet pudding, a good portion size with veg and mash- a great alternative to the usual chips with everything approach. We returned the following evening to try other foods and they were just as good. A great find. I would highly recommend this pub / restaurant.”

“A gem in beautiful Dartmouth”

“First visit to Dartmouth on what was a last-minute short break, only planned to stay one night, ended up staying three. The Ship in Dock Inn was a great find, fantastic location, less than 5 minutes’ walk to the car park, which they provide a permit for and the town centre/harbour. Rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped, it’s clear a lot of thought has gone into them, beds are so comfy, and shower is lovely and powerful, rooms have a view of the park and harbour. Breakfast is amazing with a wide menu choice. Jude and her team run a lovely place and provide a warm and friendly welcome along with exceptional service where nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely be returning.”

“SHIP IN DOCK – A DELIGHT”

“Tremendous location with views over the green and river. This is an intimate Inn with only 4 rooms and the owners go out of their way to make it a special experience. Spotlessly clean the rooms are decorated with a maritime theme. The breakfast is plentiful (a fruit salad to rival any 5* hotel) and delicious. Guests are offered a free parking permit for the towns central car park just a couple of minutes’ walk away. Cannot think how to fault it. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay – wish it had been longer.”
